Miraculous Incident During Idol Sculpting

During the ordering of Panchaloka idols, the Samajam initially decided not to include an Anjaneya idol, considering the existing Sri RamaAnjaneya. Unexpectedly, the sthapathi—who had agreed to sculpt only the utsava moorthis—rushed from Swamimalai to Pozhichalur, claiming a black-skinned Brahmin with a limping leg and Sri Choorinam on his forehead had appeared and insisted on sculpting an Anjaneya idol.
None of the Samajam members or donors had sent such a person. Yet, they agreed to sculpt the Anjaneyar Utsavar. The sthapathi, though having purchased enough metal for only three idols (Sri Rama, Sri Seetha, and Sri Lakshmana), miraculously crafted the Anjaneyar idol from the same material.
The sthapathi was astounded. The Samajam members realized the Brahmin must have been Lord Anjaneya Himself. Notably, the Moolavar has a sculpted limping leg, affirming the divine vision.
